Snicker

Last human member of the main party, as well as Clover's best friend, Azeel (see: the Indian-looking gentleman wincing in the kurta). He's a guy from the southmost continent who's on the lamb for being framed for the assassination of some sultan. While he is a lying, cheating, silver-tongued conman... he's been nothing but a, sweet and very helpful friend and teacher to Clover since he met her. In exchange for the group's protection he was made her language, music, and social studies teacher to catch poor Clover up on how to be a human. Though the party contrastingly doesn't actually trust him.... he makes them pay by secretly teaching Clover all sorts of languages.

With this scene I hoped to illustrate a moment where, during a quiet moment they are reviewing some Social Studies, he passes her a note in some language he taught her with a complicated and intelligent inside joke that only those two would find funny. Thus sending her into a cute little gigglefit.
