The Good, The Bad, and The Disappointing

The good....
Well I've picked up a bit of a muse so I'm drawing things i should, which is nice. n i got that pixel project Fire Nymph out of the way. n I'm proud of her, very proud. If the step by step wasn't there then I would prolly not believe i pulled it off, myself! N i pulled off a new base i am proud of even though it's not what i was looking for.
n my nephew is very adorable n i very much enjoyed my time in California. But it's good to be home, I missed jersey.
I love coming to this site n seeing the favs n comments.... and the mudkips! just awesome!
The bad...
I'm on the hunt for a job, so hopefully i find one soon. less worry. I wun feel so bad about sleeping when there's light out.
n i gained some weight back.. back to soup for me.
The disappointing...
No matter how detailed my work is or how hard i work, my work still isn't good enough for PixelJoint. they rejected my Fire Nymph. Their standards must be so high...
So I'm probably leaving PixelJoint just as fast as i joined it. Feels like such a waste too... i really wanted to be able to post my work in that community to get my work out there.
so there it is. sleep time! Mwuah everyone!

Update: PixelJoint accepted my Fire Nymph! While it still doesn't quite impress over there, i never really expected it to and so i am very glad it was accepted nevertheless.
I would like to post my older pixel works on PixelJoint but.. Well at least in the case of Tazkor's Elf Again I had used Photoshop for an opacity on the fire around his feet. I don't think they consider that "real pixelart". Very intimidating... If anyone has an idea of how they handle opacity at PixelJoint I would love a heads up. Getting work rejected for stuff like that is fairly devastating. I'd rather avoid that.
But on a lighter note Ranger F-a-k-e-NeoGeo Game has been found on porn sites! Awesome! If anyone sees my work on porn sites i would love a link to see! It's all kinds of flattering!

Good luck on the job hunt! I'm working two x_x Maybe look into print shops, if there's one near where you live. Its a job I never suspected to have, but I love it.

And if those people rejected your art, they must be blind, dumb, stupid, and untalented. Or maybe they are envious that your work is better then theirs. Hehe. Since your work is absolutely amazing.
And gaining weight isnt all that bad, either way your beautiful.
